There was, in my mind, still an incredible story in Denver Nights. It had all of the elements I thought would make it good. There were strong characters and wrenching conflicts. It had tension and suspense, humorous moments, and heartbreaking ones. And underneath everything else there were two very powerful stories of love.
But the way I’d written it?
